Annual Leaders Training Conference
Flagship annual event where incoming and outgoing enterprise society Presidents from universities across the UK and Europe convene for knowledge sharing, skills development, networking & celebration. A total of 170 enterprise society presidents will be in attendance in May 2011 sharing best practice and lessons learned, with exceptional exemplary leaders and speakers.
Annual Society Bootcamps
One-day regional training events for the whole committee of each society, which provide critical skills training, experience exchanges and networking opportunities in preparation for the coming year. This is delivered in October of each year in a minimum of four major cities across the UK.
Expert and Peer Coaching
- Provision of structured mentoring for society leaders to ensure student-led activity achieves sustainable development
- 1-on-1 sessions delivered through intervals throughout the year
- Custom mentoring according to society needs, with regular sessions and training
- Facilitation of peer mentoring through buddy schemes
- Track and map society progress against NACUE’s Maturity Model framework
- NACUE is able to offer guidance on society development as aggregators of national and international best practice
NACUE Learning Programme for Society Best Practice
Access to an on-line student society manual; a collection of resources, templates and case studies that give impartial guidance based on best practice, covers all aspects of developing, maintaining and growing student enterprise-led initiatives.
NACUE Groups Portal, National Events Calendar and eNewsletter
Closed on-line community for society leaders to share best practice, society models and events; access guidance and resources; and, connect with their counterparts. This also provides increased connectivity with the opportunities available in the wider enterprise community.
University Staff Support
NACUE aims to deliver valuable support to university staff that are responsible for delivering enterprise promotion and support programmes within their university. We work in close partnership with Enterprise Educators UK and the Institute for Small Business & Entrepreneurship to ensure our activities complement and extend those already available.
Available for personalised advice, consultation and guidance on the strategic development of student-led activities
Will run regional Student and Staff strategy workshops in November 2011 to facilitate greater discussions surrounding the development of enterprise societies as a component of the wider enterprise ecosystem.
Strategic Guidance for Sustainability
Provision of guidance via case studies and contextual reports to assist staff and students in developing multi-year strategic plans. Key focus is on Succession Planning to ensure the growth and sustainability of the society year-on-year.
NACUE Network & Fellowship
We provide students with an international fellowship of like-minded, talented and entrepreneurial young individuals. With NACUE at the centre of the UK’s student enterprise ecosystem, our network expands to other youth entrepreneurship organisations, leading entrepreneurs, corporates and more.
NACUE will host Presidents Dinners, where students are able to develop a peer-to-peer network of support where they can gather and share resources, tools, knowledge and events for their membership.
