Pablo Lloyd - visionnaires
Pablo Lloyd is a social entrepreneur. He is now CEO of visionnaires, a social enterprise to increase social mobility by incubating business start-ups. He co-founded visionnaires with Capital City College Group, London’s largest group of Further Education Colleges. In 1999 he was a founding director of learndirect which grew to become the UK’s largest further education provider. Following the successful sale of its commercial interests to private equity 12 years later, he founded three further education & training start-ups. He is a Cambridge University mathematics graduate, Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and was awarded an OBE for services to the skills charity WorldSkills UK.
What will be illegal in 2040?
This interactive session will propose that businesses have a major role to play in social responsibility and social inclusion, and that both law and business practice will change radically in future. In the session we will discuss and vote for what should become illegal in the next 20 years. Laws on discrimination, low pay and protection of the environment have been introduced in the last 20 years, so what should come next?
