Timothy Barnes - The Rain Gods

Tim is the founder of The Rain Gods, a specialist firm that helps start ups to launch and works with larger companies and universities to build better support programmes for innovative new businesses. He was previously the Director of Enterprise and the head of the centre for Entrepreneurship at UCL, launched the world’s first academic GovTech course for Cambridge University’s Judge Business School and works with Loughborough Univeristy London. Tim was formerly a VC investor and has founded for-profit and not-for-profit enterprises and is the current Chairman of NACUE’s Board of Trustees. In 2014 he was awarded the Queen’s Award for Enterprise Promotion.
