The Problem

80% of students said they want to play more sports than they currently do in a Sport England survey. It can be hard to find a sports partner outside the traditional settings of a sports clubor society. Sports is one of the best ways to socialise and meet new people but for casual sports people who don’t aren’t in clubs it might be more difficult.

The Solution

There are apps for finding friends, dates and even language partners but there isn’t a good app to find a sports partner. Through our Tinder-style app, you can swipe on profiles near you based on their location, ability, university and more. This way you can filter sports partners by someone who meets your needs. If you “match” you can quickly message them and set up a game! We are also adding functionality for team sports and venue booking too!

The Company

It all started when I couldn’t find a sports partner myself. I wasn’t in any sports team or sports clubs so it was difficult to find someone to go on runs or go to the gym with! Tinder was an app many people in my uni used and always wondered why there wasn’t something similar. I used to run a digital agency so I knew some developers and we started building the product from there!
