The Problem

Finding good quality home furnishings that are adequate, affordable, and functional in relation to the small living spaces available to students, young professionals, and those living in big overcrowded cities is difficult.

Currently there are no flat packed home furnishings that do not require assembly and that can be easily folded or stored when not in use to free up the floorspace.

It is complicated and expensive to transport large pieces of home furnishings, such as chairs, beds and others, from a store to the place where we live or when moving to a new accommodation which is often the case for those studying and renting.

Finally, a lot of landfill rubbish is created by disposing home furnishings when they are damaged, old, or simply out of style.

The Solution 

After looking at the existing space-saving solutions such as folding bicycles and roll-up mattresses, we developed and patented an accordion-like technology that allows us to reinvent home furnishings in a more practical and environmentally friendly way.

Our products are manufactured using 100% recycled materials, such as aluminium and plastic, as well as biodegradable materials, such as wood and bio-TPU, in order to avoid generating more landfill rubbish.

Flat packed home furnishings that, unlike IKEA, do not require any assembly or screws, which can go from 2D to 3D straight from the box allowing for easy storage and transport.

Flat-folding tables and chairs that can be flattened and hanged on a wall.

King size beds that weight less than 10kg and can be packed in a box as small as 80x30x30cm.

Folding luggages that can go from 50L to 2L in a second as well as many others space-saving, multifunctional, and eco-friendly products.

What sets our technology and innovation apart from all our competitors is that our products do not require screws or assembly of any type, whilst offering better design and quality than the competitors.

The Company 

Aleksandr and I met while looking for a place to live in our first year at the university, and after complaining about how small the accommodation available was, we decided to find a solution to maximise the floorspace available, whilst making sure that we were kind to the planet.

As properties in the big cities are getting smaller by 13% and more expensive by 6.9% YOY it was not a surprice how small and unconfortable they are, whereas overcomplicated to assamble IKEA furniture does not offer great quality and functionality.

We were surprised by how difficult it was to find home furnishings that did not require assembly and that could be easily folded or stored when not in use to maximise the available floorspace.

We were shocked to find out how complicated and expensive it was to transport home furnishings from the store to the place that we were renting.

Furthermore, we were extremely concerned about how much landfill rubbish is created by dispossing home furnishing pieces.
